Conceived during the quiet of 2020 quarantine, SYM-BEE-OSIS was inspired by a renewed attention to the small ecosystems around us. Designed for Southern California’s native solitary bees, this habitat offers safe cavities for dwelling and nesting—supporting pollinators that thrive independently, not in hives. A quiet structure with an outsized impact, SYM-BEE-OSIS welcomes biodiversity back into the everyday, inviting humans into closer relationship with their often-overlooked nature neighbors—fostering coexistence, care, and shared survival.
